Kent Glenzer is currently Associate Professor at the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS) with a joint appointment in the business school and the public administration department. He teaches program evaluation, policy advocacy, international organizational behavior and a rotating cluster of courses that focus on the intersection of power, organizations, social change and complexity.

Prior to MIIS, Kent spent more than 20 years working with international NGOs (CARE, Oxfam) and local NGOs and public sector agencies, with a strong focus on sub-Saharan Africa. His current consulting relationships include the Ford Foundation’s China office, Firelight Foundation, and pro bono work with a variety of NGOs and private sector enterprises which partner with Kent and his graduate students.
