Through our research on movement networks, our work with clients, and by launching the Network Leadership Innovation Lab, Management Assistance Group (MAG) (now Change Elemental) had initially hoped to gain some insight into the structures and practices that help networks resolve common problems. We were asked on several occasions to offer some best practices for people and organizations in movement networks, but what we found was less formulaic and a lot more interesting. In Creating Culture: Promising Practices of Successful Movement Networks, published in the Nonprofit Quarterly, we share some insights from what we learned.
