Amid polycrisis and rising violence, we tend to our well-being, relationships, and visions—nourishing our desired future by strengthening the movement infrastructure needed for solidarity, interdependence, and mutual thriving.
Our Learning Labs are at the heart of this infrastructure, providing creative, rigorous, relational, cross-movement spaces that build individual and collective capacity for liberating transformation, fortify our justice ecosystem, and prefigure the interdependent future we seek.
Our Offerings
Prefiguring Futures Lab
The Prefiguring Futures Lab is a generator for power with and power within (and visionary uses of power over)—for the be-how and know-how of advancing liberation and sovereignty. Rooted in the Five Elements of Liberatory Transformation, it provides experiences, experiments, and practices, along with resources and tools, for tending to the being and doing of prefiguring liberation.
Interdependent Networks
We nurture emerging and evolving networks driven by changemakers across issues, movements, and sectors to find authentic ways of generating power greater than the sum of their parts.
Our Experience
Building on a decade+ of developing and facilitating labs, Change Elemental has supported leaders through the John W. Mack Movement Building Fellows Program (in partnership with the Weingart Foundation), Women’s Democracy Lab’s Future Presidents Project, and the Network Weaver Learning Lab—strengthening leaders and networks across the country.
